I have a 2013 XCT with 31k miles on her.
Question, around the 25K mile mark I noticed a small oil leak. Taking her back to my shop mechanic it was discovered the leak was coming from a seal on the shift linkage connection to crank bearing. Now at the 31k mile mark it seems I have a small oil leak from the very same seal that was previous replaced. Has anyone had any problems with with type of issue? Is this an issue that may have to be addressed frequently? Any thoughts and guidance would be appreciated.

If your talking about the shifter shaft seal its not a common problem.
Sounds like the tech didn't install it correctly. The seal can tear on install if its not done right
