Error 168 is the code for low system voltage. This could be a weak battery, an alternator going bad, or simply battery not making good contact. I would start with ensuring the battery connections are tight.
code 168 reads: System Power (battery potential/power input) Condition: Voltage Too High
Now the reason it might be high is because the battery is going bad and the voltage regulator is trying to catch up.
