Anyone that has mounted a 300mm tire have any advice? I was assured they would "bolt right on" but the belt is hitting the edge of the tire. The manufacturer is stumped but says they've done the identical install and it will fit. I see no other option but to put a spacer on the drive side hub. Anyone been there, done that? Your insight would be geatly appreciated.

There are a lot of threads for 300 tires, as far as I remember reading, sometimes you need a spacer, most times not, there are some pictures on this site too of a member that had to put a spacer ..

I was able to do it to 06 Hammer. Added to washers to right side of rim. Removed rear pulley from rim added a lock washer it's a little thicker washer on the studs between rim and pulley. It does take a little fine tuning to get it just right, but I did ii myself. I'm on my 5 300mm tire now. All different brands My favorite so far Avon

Also need a 10.5" rim couldn't get it to work on a 10"

I was able to do a 280 on the rear of my 06 hammer with no adverse mounting problems.
