I took her for a test ride and found that when I try to accelerate in 6th gear it slips down to 5th and pulls away. It only happens in 6th. My question is is this something to worry about or is fairly normal? After all they call it an 'overdrive' so maybe isn't designed to accelerate in.
Any opinions would be most welcome as I'm about to buy the bike.

Your clutch cable is too tight. Adjust it so there is some free play at the lever.
