While at Sturgis this year my stader went out on my 2009 Vision Tour. The guys at Rice Victory in Rapid city were fantastic. They did not have the part in stock ( this never goes out) so they contacted Victory at 2pm on that FRIDAY to locate a part.(on back order) My bike was given top priority over anyone else looking to order a stader in the entire nation. (stranded on the road status) I left my bike at Rice and rented a car while we waited for the part to come in (Maybe by Monday). That afternoon we drove past Sturgis and saw the Victory factory display out by the highway. We stopped and walked up to a guy named BOB (Known as ELVIS in the Victory community) I asked if he had any staders for a vision in his bag of tricks. He replied... you must be Brad and your stader will be at Rice in the morning (SATURDAY). It turns out that BOB is the national service rep for Victory and he called the factory personally to make sure they found me a stader. As promised.. Rice called me about noon the next day and said my bike was ready to pick up. That is what I call A+ Customer service form Rice and Victory!!!! Try and get a Harley part over nighted anywhere... even across town! It's not gonna happen. Thanks to Rice Victory and ELVIS (Bob)thumb up

Sounds like they treated you right man. So did they say why your "stator" went out?

No need to bad mouth the HD people. I've heard and experienced plenty of good service stories about them too. Plenty of bad stories on both makes too.

customer service

No clue on the stater... I rode HD for over 30 years and never got this good of service. So I'm just relying on my experience.

That is what we all want from any business that we deal with, especially our bikes. Great job from the Rapid City dealer. I hope to go by next year when I try to make it up there. thumb up
