Not many get down to this part of the world.

In fact I might claim a record, as I did a 4,000 km ride from Sydney to Hobart and once we were on the ferry across Bass Straight and arrived in Tasmania, did not see another Victory for the whole trip! (Tasmania has a population of 500,000 and no Victory dealers). Only Victory in Tasmania and perhaps the most southern ever?

Fitted a RPW Thor 2 into 1 exhaust (good but LOUD), Lloyds timing wheel, new air box, Lloyds ECU, and Avon Cobras for the trip. Loads of grunt and grip.

Attached are some pictures of this part of the world. Me on a Victory Judge and my mate on a HD Road King:
In order ~
Ferry - have you ever ridden onto a ferry?
Stanley, north west Tas
Strahan, remote, south west
Lake Plimsoll

There's something special about riding onto a ferry, because when you ride off, you are in a very different place. We experience that sensation quite a lot in the NW corner of Washington state. Thanks for the pics and the post--looks like a neat place to ride.

Great pictures.

Thanks so much for posting. Most of us will never get to experience such places. Most have the hope and desire, we just lack the funds. Please post up some more from down under. Thank you.

Ive never been down there yet myself.
Actually when I was Victory hunting last year there was a Judge for sale there. Had I had the funds at the time I wouldve flown down and rode home.
As luck would have it though a great deal on my Vegas came up in Melbourne so it was Plan V instead:)
Really like to do a run to Tassie as some time.
Lots of windy roads perfect biking state.
In summer of course:)

There are 71 on the wall to look at. An excellent project for that particular sculptor. Also you can buy some c#%t soap if you wish at the gift shop.

Surely youre familiar with the old oft touted catchcry of "show us yr map of Tassie!"
Back in the days of unshaven pussies there was a resemblance of the shape of Tasmania to the sight of a hairy female pubic area..
These days with the popularity of waxing and brazillians it seems Brazil comes out on top of Tasmania.
Pun intended:)

Back in the day, when a gal said she had a sheared beaver, it meant she had a certain fur coat. My how the times they are a changing.
