Hello everyone,

I have been having a heck of a time adding a CB to my Cross Road 2012 Classic LE.

I have decided and purchased Midland 822.
I brought an license plate 4 foot antenna from Revzilla. (piece of junk for $89) paid a "CB expert" to SWR my unit and antenna. I was noisy and had to much electrical whine when keyed. Could only Broadcast 200 feet.

On the road this weekend, I stopped at a couple of truck stops.
Now just installed a truckers mirror clamp (on the saddle bag guard strong, looks good and better ground plane) and 18 gauge coax 18 feet long.
Got a firestick phase 4 adjustable antenna
Had to order/purchase a MH Instruments Electrical noise Filter (PN107) from the local Harley Shop.
Tomorrow will pick up SWR meter cause I can't find my old one (nuts!)

Got the noise out of the system and the filter killed the electrical whine.
SWR meter should finish job. I will post here.

NOW My question: The radio and bluetooth (Sena remote) look like crap hanging off my handle bars. Any suggestions to clean up and secure my items?

Thanks

reasons why I did not buy J&M CB

Shoulda gone this route...a J&M CB/Intercom.
One Price: J&M $500.00 vs Midland $89.00
Two: Triple duty. Motorcycle, car and camping.
Three: Friend had his stolen off his bike. (insurance did not cover it)
Four: wanted to go bluetooth (Sena system - works great).

Thanks for the suggestion though!

One Price: J&M $500.00 vs Midland $89.00 Mine was under $300 including antenna.
Two: Triple duty. Motorcycle, car and camping. Have a portable for car and other apps.
Three: Friend had his stolen off his bike. (insurance did not cover it) Thief would have to cut wires to remove my unit, rendering it useless.
Four: wanted to go bluetooth I brush mine at least twice a day to keep them white.

Thanks for the suggestion though!
You're very welcome.cheers:ltr:
