I bought one of the micro start batteries in case I ever need to jump start my bike and I installed a new battery tender from Antigravity which is made with heavier wire to prevent it from melting, but my problem is that after installing the new tender on the battery my die hard battery tender reads out connect clamps but it is plugged into the harness which is already on the bike. Has anyone else had problems with these harnesses or have any suggestions. I did order a new battery charger just in case. Appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks and Ride Safe.

didn't your bike have a tender cord all ready on the battery
you should only have 2 wires per terminals.
add 1/4" lock washers to each battery bolt

Sorry I am not fully understanding your post ?

Is the main problem your battery tender reads "connection good" but the tender is "not connected" ??

When the charger is plugged into the tender harness the charger readout is saying connect clamps, but it is already plugged into the harness.

Aha .. Got it ... Then as others suggested

1, clean /electrical grease / star washer / tighten the battery tender lead to battery ...

2, plug it in / see if she charges with a multi meter

3, if YES then it's all good and put tape over the fault reading .... Ha ha ha

RICZ deserves a feather for his suggestion ...
