I'm brand new to Victory's after years on Harleys…recently got a great deal on a 2010 Hammer S and snatched it up. Great bike! out of curiosity I started calling some of the local Independent motorcycle repair shops and NONE will touch Victory's…hoping I didn't get roped into using only dealers for repairs, upgrades etc. as I don't wrench much beyond maintenance. I am hoping some of my fellow Michigan Victory riders might know of a good Indy mechanic. Thanks

Too bad I didn't live up that way. I'm not a 'mechanic' per se, but I'd be willing to help out. Chesterfield is a long walk from CT ;)

Don't know the Detroit Metro area dealers but if you go on facebook there are several Michigan Victory groups and you could probably find a recommendation there. Over here in Grand Rapids, Tim at Smokin' Joe's Indian does a pretty good job. Expensive but he knows his Vic's. I have a Hammer as well and have loved it from the day I bought it. Been a great bike.
