In the hammer section we are trying to get the guy that builds them for the narrow tire bikes to make one for us fat tire guys.

What does it do? Here is a description from Conquest Customs website for the one for the skinny tire bikes if they make one for us it will be just the same results.

Conquest Underdrive Pulley for 05 & Up Narrow tire bikes (100 & 106ci) for the Vision, Cross Bikes, KingPin & Vegas.
1045 Carbo Steel.
Increased performance without engine mods!
It reduces the tooth count from 33 to 31
Quicker launch
Better roll on acceleration
Stay in the "sweet spot" RPM range during slower riding speeds
7 % RPM differential in 6th gear


I don't know about you but my hammer and my old jackpot just seemed to be lugging in 6th gear unless I am doing 80mph. People are also saying the bikes get better fuel mileage using these and running highway speeds at about 2900 rpm

So Speak up if you would seriously buy one so we can finally convince them to make it!

I guess I am curious as to why you think you need to use 6th gear all the time? (if youre not doing 80mph...) just use 5th, they are both overdrive gears on these bikes.

Gears 1 thru 4 are basic all around gears and should be used for all your riding with about 3000 rpm being the max "cruising" rpm, seems to be the motor speed the 106" motor just purrs. Over that shift the the next gear... 5th gear above 60 for me usually and then if Im legging it out I go into 6th. and yes that is usually above 80 mph around the country roads where I live.

I think the cams are slightly different in his bike from the factory giving a little less low end torque with an increase in top end over a X bike. That is what I was told by a factory rep. Adding an after market exhaust and stage 1 lessens that torque low end torque even more.
An under drive pulley could make a lot of sense if this is the case.
Would make it a more fun bike when you aren't going 85. Which is most of the time.

if most of the riding is done on "B" roads and not on high-ways then a under-drive-pulley would be a good option, there are only "high-ways" on the next islands....

Just search the treads on other bikes with narrow tires who installed the smaller pulley, they say it is GREAT so what would be the difference for wide tire bikes??

fifth gear on victory's are really GREAT so hopefully with the under-drive-pulley the 6th will be great also? now the 6th is 1:1 as per manual.....
