The saying "old guys confuse easily" definitely applies to me. I have read the service manual as well as dozens of posts on the two possible connectors for audio in the glove box of the 2008 Vision. I currently have my Ipod Touch connected with the wide and narrow plug. I know there is an option of plugging in another cable for audio with a 3.5MM plug, one that apparently is close to if not exactly like a headphone plug you would use in a cell phone for example. My question is this: The service manual says pull the cable into the glove box and connect the 3.5MM cable/plug as the alternate to the Ipod connector. My cable is white but when I start to pull the cable further into the glove box, it doesn't budge and I'm afraid I'm going to pull something loose from the other end. Does the wider Ipod plug itself come off the cable end or is there a place further down the cable that also holds the 3.5mm plug? Sorry but I've never seen this pictured except in the manual and to me it does not compute. If anyone has a picture or drawing or further instructions on how this works, please post. Thanks.
