The wife and I returned to the dealer in hopes (after 2 weeks) that the the vision they were expecting arrived and was ready for test ride.
Well it was there but, still in shipping crate. We asked to see just what the Imperial Blue looked like and lucky for us it was outside in the sunlight. Oh my God!!! That is a fantastic color!!!!We stood there for 20 mins., walking around it to get a view from every angle.
Told my wife, "well honey, looks like your going to be riding Starship Enterprize" She laughed and gave me "that look".

To be fair to her, we did re-ride the XCT only with air in the rear shock, and that had to be the smoothest ride on a motorcycle either of us had felt. Major improvment over the first ride.

And since the wife was still tossing around the thought of maybe getting 2 cruisers and actually piloting her own, while I was there I rode the High Ball.........3 changes would have to happen to fit me,
1) Controls extended 2"
2) Solo touring seat
3) riders backrest
in all honesty the highball is not for me. to many changes in hopes it worked in my favor, BUT!!!
WHAT A ROCKET SHIP that thing was. It had stage one done already, and since it sounded so badass I couldnt help but twist the throttle.......Entering the freeway the car next to me wasnt going to give an inch so I said...Later dude
twisted the gas and shifted twice, checked the mirror and I left that guy like he was sitting still. What a fun bike to ride.

Lucky for me on the ride home Cheryl (my Wife) gave me her blessing to get either touring model I wanted. We had a great talk pros and cons of both and considering every possible thought option for the next 10 years it was desided (pending the test ride of coarse) Starship Enterprize was going to be in our garage in the near future.
No we pray for our plans that are in action now, to come to light very soon cause we once again have the BUG to be back on 2 wheels and see the country side as it should be seen. These plans could still take 1 month to 1 year to unfold, but at least we agree on what we will be riding when it finally does unfold for us.

Didn't I tell you the XCT would be much better with some air in the rear shock?!? It really does make all the difference in the world; it's like going from a Jeep Wrangler to a Bentley. You'll probably like the Vision just as much but since it's the only Victory I haven't ridden (can't count the Hard ball or Judge yet) I can't give you any input. I can say that there are a bunch of happy Vision riders that wouldn't trade their bikes for anything though. This bike has a huge following which I'm sure you'll fall into once you make the purchase.

I'll be riding south this year (wine and lottery ticket runs to Idaho are getting old) so I'll probably ride through. Hopefully you'll have your new bike by then, if so I'll PM you when I head that way to see if you want to ride.

I have my fingers crossed to have it here by middle of March but one can never say.

I look forward to riding with anyone from this site at almost anytime.
That includes a trip to Cali in June for the bombers and bikes show down south.
