My dealer called me today and asked if i wanted to pick up my Pin while we wait for the determination on the warranty for the tank paint.
Since it was friggin gorgeous out I high tailed to pick my scoot.

100 bucks for the diagnostic work he pulled the primary and check the clutch, nothing wrong. He called ma Vic they said its normal the a howling type sound to be present under hard acceleration. They said its the torque compensator working, nothing to worry about.

I rode her home, it seemed to shift better and quieter. Im cool with it.

If assurant dont cover the tank, I see some possible custom paint happening if I dare to paint her myself. I paint my own fairings :) last one came out tits.

I work for Ford, and we warranty all rust for 5 years or 100,000 miles. The only stip is it can not be rust from damage. It sounds like a paint bubble that starts from under the paint would be covered instantly. I don't see a lot of this because of Fords factory prep, but it does happen from time to time.
