I just had my oil changed at a local independent shop. The tech showed me a "cheat sheet" (his term) from Polaris, because he services a LOT of Polaris ATVs and he wrote them and asked what oil he could use in their machines. They sent him this list, and on it was Victory oil, and it says that the Bel-Ray was recommended as a substitute for their branded stuff. So he suggested we use the EXL mineral 4T 20W-50. We'll see how it goes.

I wonder if that's because Bel Ray is certified JASO MA2. RP, Amsoil and shell do their testing in house and are not certified through JASO. You know the oils are all just as good but only Bel Ray is certified.

My thoughts so far.... The clutch works perfect, and the motor has no more or less hear than with the Vic oil. But it seems to shift hard. It feels exactly like it does when the oil is in need of changing. To be honest.... I don't like the way it shifts with this oil.
