I have a 2012 Jackpot. I installed the Arlen Ness lowering links, and as many others have experienced, I have belt rubbing. I tried grinding down the inside of the sprocket cover, which didn't work. So then I removed it completely. Obviously it no longer rubs there, but it is now painfully obvious that it rubs the belt guard also. To be clear, I'm talking about the belt guard toward the rear of the bike, that runs from the rear pulley, forward to almost where the sprocket cover should be.
There isn't anything for me to grind down on this piece, and I can't seem to find any aftermarket solutions or replacements. I considered bending it upward, but I don't think that's going to fix it.
Has anyone else experienced this and resolved the issue? Or know where I can buy a belt guard that will solve my problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your belt is chirping cause your rear wheel is out of alignment.
To find out go down the road at a medium speed take hands off bars if it drifts to left its out of alignment. If it slowly goes to right then its good. If goes to the right real fast then its miss aligned.
You only half to have your hands off for a little bit of time

Your belt is chirping cause your rear wheel is out of alignment.
To find out go down the road at a medium speed take hands off bars if it drifts to left its out of alignment. If it slowly goes to right then its good. If goes to the right real fast then its miss aligned.
You only half to have your hands off for a little bit of time
Pardon my ignorance, if this is the case, but the noise occurs when the rear end drops low enough for the belt to make contact with the inside of the belt guard. I'm not understanding how my alignment would cause this to happen.

Ok I went to get my rear wheel/belt alignment done. They said it was hugging one side. We will see now (after it cools off) what happens when I put the belt guard back on.

By the way where is your shock set at. If its to soft you will bet rubbing

Just elongate the holes where the guard attaches to the swing arm and raise it up. 1/8 inch took care of mine.thumb upcheers
