I bought a pair of aftermarket rear blinkers today. Got home took old ones off put one of the new ones on, blinked once and dead??? Rewired old blinker on..works, tried the other new one..nothing??!! So my bright idea was to test it on my car, touched new blinker on car battery and it lit up like a christmas tree. rewired it back on bike...nothing WTF! Am I missing something here???

new blinkers im trying to use: BikeMaster Mini Stalk Turn Signals V-Shaped

Designed for use with 12 Volt motorcycle electrical systems
Short stalk marker light turn signals with V-Shaped lens
Single filament bulbs
Two wire system
Black/White wire = Negative
Black wire = Positive

Here's where a multimeter comes in handy... it seems that the new lights require a full 12 volts (probably at least 9) to operate and the stock lights are rated at fewer volts. Test the wires using a multimeter and find out how many volts are getting to the end of the wires... or try it your way using the new lights vs the old lights, but with the engine running.

Well exchanged the blinkers today, installed them and the same issue...nothing. started the scoot and placed the blinker on and nothing. Reinstalled the old blinkers and they work. I'm still baffled!

You might need a load equalizer.I had this issue when I removed my rear signals and installed tsukayu strong bags with built in led's.Although on mine, I had too remove the load equalizer because they would blink once and stay on.
If those lights aren't led's, then I'm not sure what the problem is.Maybe bad wiring inside the light.

Well now the whole left side front and back are not blinking, this sucks!
checked fuse, headlight, horn and right side working fine.

Well after doing some searching on the site, sounds like I may need a ACM. I was looking at a few off of http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/Badlands_Automatic_Turn_Signal_Canceling_Module_p/ats-03-c.htm
but I'm really not sure which I need, can someone help a bro out.
If you have determined that the ACM is in fact the problem......I believe the only one that will work on your bike is Part # 4011713.
It does a lot more then just cancel your sigs.

If the above is what you need ....I carry them in stock.

Yeah I think I've come to that conclusion. Checked all wires this morning no breaks. How fast is shipping? Now when I wire the new blinker (12v regular bulb)
to the right side no blink, tried it with bike running, road around parking lot still no blink but when I install the old one it works. I know for a fact the new blinkers are good.

Ship out on same day order comes through....but be sure it is in fact your ACM....cannot accept refunds on electric parts for obvious reasons.

Please buy your self a teat meter. You might not have a good ground and I do believe on the front there reverse in the wiring.
Usually the the connector has a black dot on the terminal that has power.

Just to update this thread for future searchers, the ACM was the culprit.
