On my 06 Victory Jackpot my tail light went out. I replaced the sealed unit with the new 12v, updated tail light from Victoryonly.com (with the 12v adapter plug). Everything seems to work fine except my front brake won't activate the brake light. I've checked the front brake micro switch with a multimeter, the switch itself works fine, the wiring all the way through the harness in the headlight all the way to the connection at the "Auto Cancel Turn Switch" module works fine too. In fact when I test voltage across the Yel/Grn wire that connects to the turn signal module, that is the common for both brake switches, I get 12v. This is where I'm thoroughly confused. The turn signal module only accepts one signal for both brake switches, and when I activate either brake I get 12v at the pin. So how does the turn signal module ignore the signal from my front switch?? The only thing I can think of is there is some loss in signal from the front switch that either limits the current required to trip the module, or the voltage is slightly too low. Any suggestions?

A. Keep it simple whatever you do. 2. Ge a service manual (BBOB has posted some here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aoq581k2ab25z/Victory_Manuals) (If you've already done all this my apologies but) I take it the back brake activates it? When you check the front micro switch is there power coming out of it when you grab the brake? My thought is to put a zip tie or some such around the front brake and trace the power back to the light (or common place where it ant the back brake meet perhaps the "Auto Cancel Turn Switch"?). Look over the wiring diagram to help trace it. If the head light and brake light both work 9as you probably know) it's not a main (20amp?) fuse. Given that the other light went out it could be a fuse link or a worn thru wire...somewhere. Again, start simple and stay that way as long as you can. Keep us posted. LMYR
