If it's a father/son (or daughter) transaction, just write a ownership transfer receipt stating no money was exchanged in this transaction. You can transfer vehicle titles between family with no sales tax equivalent if you are willing to sign a piece of paper certifying parent/child relationship . . . and zero dollars were exchanged in the process. Will save you a few bucks. And claim the value of bike being a bit less than low blue book. That will save you a few bucks also. Have done it a couple times. sheets

Something good about my home state? I can't believe it.
In Ca., we can lane split and ride in the HOV lane.

Note: I believe there's a new law you that cannot split lanes 10 mph over the traffic, and never over 40 mph.
