I was hoping someone might be able to provide some insight on a CB or some sort of bike to bike comms for a XCT. I found one post that covered for the cross roads, but that bike doesn't have the external speakers like the XCT. I was trying to see if victory has anything that is plug and play but can't find anything like that. If I went with the J&M does it take away from the stock radio feature?

Victory makes a CB for the XC/XCT also fits the Vision part # 2877189
You'll also need the CB Harness XCT/XC only PN 2878061.
Driver's wired headset PN 2878062.
Audio Wiring Harness PN 2878065.
Passenger headset intecom PN 2878063 and CB Antenne PN 2877191.
I got the info off the box my CB came in will be putting it in bike soon. It says that audio wiring harness not needed for XM if CB already installed.

Since I only use CB for club rides I can't justify the cost of Victory CB unit.
I'm using a Midland hand held radio model 75 with rubber duckie antenna. I fabricated a mounting plate to hold the radio and attach to left side of bar using a ram mount.Radio output is routed to my Sena blue tooth dongle using a 3.5mm cable. Works good and only set me back about $100.00
Range is sufficient for communication with the pack. :)

Pictures of my set up. All (Garmin, XM CB) mounted using RAM balls and arms. Main RAM ball is mounted under the left mirror stud & I used the RAM locking knob to prevent easy theft. The CB is mounted on a metal plate I fabricated CB held by both velcro pad on back and additional velcro strap around the body.
To transmit I push button on left side of radio and speak into the radio speaker.

On the 2013 XCT, DO NOT try the J&M radio. I had all kind of noise issue that I could not get ride of. J&M was no help, from my electronic experience the CANbus system on the new Victory is noisy and the J&M wiring is not shielded and picks up all the noise.

The Vic radio is expensive and a bitch to install. But it work quiet well and the intercomm, (Wired) has an independent controller for the passenger, separate volume control just for them. I love this feature.

I mounted my Antennas on the truck for better reception and a bonus they look much better more like they belong there. I also like the hi/lo feature on transmit power, great is your are in a group (lo power) or strung out (hi Power). Integration is first rate.

Cheers
