After owning my 13 CCT for exactly 10 years and 65k miles I decided to find my last motorcycle. My buddy in Idaho bought my Victory and I took delivery of a 2023 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT in Ardent Red 1 week ago. It's been raining and snowing every since so I only rode it home and around the block to get gas.

Time will come when parts are almost impossible to get. I'm getting too old to have to fix anything down the road that may go out on my CCT. It was a 100% reliable motorcycle and took my wife and I to many states. First time I was emotional to sell a motorcycle.

This new Honda is a beauty.

i met a guy over the summer with one of the new wings... he made the jump from an electra-glide.. spent about 20 minutes chatting with him and he had nothing but praise for the bike. he did let me sit on it and it was amazingly comfy.... the stripped down F6B felt a little more comfy to me but if your experience is anything like the guy i was chatting with, you aren't going to regret it one bit and prolly will have the same permagrin on your face as he did.
the only other bike i would consider besides the F6B would be the Eluder.... I test rode one after they came out and it was pretty impressive.

We have an older one, a GL1500. It totes a double sidecar similar in size to a chopped smart car without struggling. Goldwings are nothing short of amazing.
Great choice. Congratulations!

Last person I spoke to that rides a DCT rides more than they ever did with traditional clutch. They just love riding the wing. Enjoy sir. :)

Nice ride! If I ever get rid of my XR it would probably be for a GW, maybe the stripped down version.

Don't say you can't go wrong buying a Goldwing! I bought a 2012 brand new off a show room floor. I had a problem with front end shake. Took it to the dealer and they said rear tire was low on air BS! They put more than the manual calls for and when I left the dealer it still shook between 35-45 mph. Took it to another dealer and they said nothing was wrong with it BS! Finale called Honda Corporation in California went round and round with them and they said take it to another dealer of choice. I got the same response from that dealer nothing was wrong! I read on the internet that guy's were changing out fork springs, using a little bit of heavier fork oil. and changed the triple tree bearing from a regular bearing to a tampered bearing and after spending roughly $2500. to $3000. the problem went away! To cut down on money for parts Honda swapped out the bearing from tapered to a regular bearing save money. I later found out from a Honda dealer that this was the issue with the Goldwing's. So, I traded my wing in for a 2013 Victory CCT sunset red and never looked back. If the bike didn't shake every thing was fine. Never say never! Good luck with your new Goldwing!

Here's the known weaknesses and complaints of a (mine) CCT
severe high operating temperature of engine
Never ending belt squeaking
High speed "wandering" because of the aerodynamics
low speed handling issues. (Top heaviness)
"must put on exhaust and tuner to run better" (as it should have they say)
Broken throttle cables. (Carry a SaveURide)
Rear Shock leakage

As you can see no bike is perfect. Is there anything my CCT could do better than my new Wing? It had more luggage space.
That's it.
