Hey All,

So I've read many posts about removing O2s sensor plugs, or simply unplugging them, but I'm a little confused exactly as to what I remove.

I have a Cobra Power Pro (Fi2000) for my bike that I'm going to be putting back on here soon after I get my Big City Thunder baffles. When I put the Power Pro back on, should I not connect them to the O2s, or should I connect them to the O2s, but leave the stock O2 plugs off? If anyone can point me in the right direction for this, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,
-HT

When I hooked up my Cobra, I plugged the O2is into the Cobra's O2 plugs. I prompt received engine codes saying I had a lean burn condition. I plugged the O2s into their original plugs and haven't had an issue yet.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to ditch the Cobra and replace it with a PCV and a tune.

Unplug the 02's at the connector 6" down the wire. Take the Cobra Fi, to the range, mount it to a target. Then using a high energy round; in a large caliber weapon. Send it where it belongs. That will be the only satisfaction you will ever have from that junk

Sooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I take it you don't care for the Cobra Unit. :ltr:

Sorry had to do it, couldn't resist, and will go back to the dark cold corner set aside for me.

There are several very good units that have been endorsed by the Vic Guru's and have a proven record. These bikes are picky about their add on's, and I don't know enough or haven't heard enough about the Cobra. I do wonder if some of the "Vic" issues are brought on by marginal maintenance and products though.

Exactly why didn't waste money on a Ness air filter on my Hammer, or some low grade fuel tuner on the Hammer OR the XC.
When I put a fuel tuner on, it WILL be a PCV. Why waste the time and my labor to put on a fuel tuner that I will swap out later and sell for a loss?

Buy the best that is available, you more than likely will never regret it.
