I made a system and wrapped it.
Hate it.
So it's getting binned.

Will follow same style and routing but be made from 2" stainless and it's all piecuts. I like that look.

Will be kind of like stock routing. But no silences. Just 2" all the way.

Do have internal baffles I will try.

Have some 2" dia brass bar to make exhaust end finisher pieces.

Going to be a whole heap of TIG welding going on in the new year.

I really like to watch a build. There is a small shop here that use to built and restore motorcycles. Benny is still working on a 1952 servi car and had to do a lot of fabrication. That will probably be the last one. At one time they had 4 Vincent motorcycles, a BSA, a Norton, a couple of more English brands and several Italian brands. Plus Harleys and Indians. I was damned near a museum. I watched them restore many of them. But the guy that owned most of them was killed in a motorcycle wreak in Colorado around five years ago. His son sold most of them only leaving the servi car a 1942 Flat Head on a military frame and a 1946 Kunkle head.

Fantastic!...Craftsmanship is alive and well in soggy U.K.
That's for sure and certain.
Gonna be the wildest home-brew, Victory based custom chopper in the known universe!
Without a doubt.
Hopefully you can get a feature in one of the major bike mags....
Something this good deserves to be seen.

It's so weird the belt fits perfectly on one part but not all. One would think it would fit on all of the pulley if it fits on any of it. Probably a dumb question but did you try putting the belt under tension to see if it falls into place?

The portion that fits was pushed into place.

So frustrating

Now just have to swallow the 40gbp shopping costs to return it.

Hey ho.

Onwards and upwards.

Paint be done and ready to fit in 4 weeks.

Waiting for paint to come back on 21st feb.
Busy with work and excited about visiting NYC soon. But lil jobs still getting done.

I wanted conquest ground pounders but just too expensive with current exchange rate/shipping and then another 25% once they land here in duties n taxes.

So thought why not make my own

Total spend... about 57gbp

The clamp is just a mock up. Have some 1/2 brass plate to make that from and 2" brass bar to make exhaust tips.

All currently being tig welded.
From memory the front pipe is 24 pieces. Rear pipe 35ish

Then after some playtime in workshop this appeared...
The ukraine piece of crap pulley went back and much to my surprise I was refunded immediately. So fairplay to them.

Pipes be finished next week.
Lunch break at work today I took some 2" brass bar and knocked up couple of exhaust tips.
Just to make the turnouts a bit smarter.
Another diy job the list.
Total cost... nothing. The material is on long term loan from scrap bin.. lol

Only just realised I could try linking video this way.

I bought the engine off a guys garage floor.
Never heard or seen it run.
Built the bike round it lol.
Then tested it... I had faith.

Old video. But was pleased it ran well. My own intake system. And my own wiring loom bypassing all safety etc. Just 2 wires to battery and job done

I will ride to shows and bike nights etc.
But will also use it to ride to work or the shops.
Probably wont get mega miles on it this summer but 7 or 8k miles I guess.

Already got plans for what I'm doing to it at end of this summer lol
