One could go on, but you get the point, even if the media does not. Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.

Now we know the real reason Democrats want them gone.

One thing is for sure; no one in DC is minding the store. The good of the country has taken a back seat to all other interests, it seems. Happy Obamacare everyone!

I'm a democrat, yet I have a CWP.

I don't mind being finger printed and having my background checked.

WHy do Republicans have such an issue with that? Should all nutcases and terrorists have access to guns?

Doesn't even take a nutcase, upset humans are enough:

http://www.newser.com/story/174532/drivers-shoot-each-other-dead-in-road-rage-spat.html

" A pair of drivers shot each other to death in a Michigan parking lot last night, in what appears to have been a fit of road rage. James Pullum, 43, and Robert Taylor, 56, got out of their cars and argued in a car-wash parking lot in Iona, Mich., an argument that eventually ended in seven to eight shots being fired, witnesses tell Wood TV.

One man ran to try to help, kicking the guns out of the way and attempting CPR, but it was no use. Town officials say both men had concealed carry permits. "I think it's crazy that a small town has to have two people die," says one witness. "I feel sorry for the families and everyone acquainted with them.""

Must be a conservative media conspiracy that this isn't front page news for weeks and weeks across the country I guess?

But seriously, suppose one had lived. Would he have been able to claim stand your ground and be let go scot free? What if the other guy was unarmed, but looked scary, would that be sufficient reason to justifiably kill him?

Last year we have a very well respected and well like Scottsdale Attorney, (okay maybe not so well respected or well liked;)) and he got cut off. Chased the guy, they pull into a parking lot and bang bang young father of 2 shot dead. The gun thing is nuts. Sorry but I am still a fan of a 7 day waiting period, background checks, etc. Also I know you have the right but I don't get the wannabe military semis. But hey if you need something like that so you can hunt Bambi go for it. Just remember don't take it to work or school. And most of all remember guns don't kill people, crazy ass people with guns kill people.

That did make news here on the left coast Saddle and I heard it first on Lars Larson's show, a local conservative. So much for conspiracy.

The gun thing is a lot of smoke and fury with almost no change coming out of all that. My dog is in a bigger fight, a fight that already has my ox gored...Obamacare. Put yourself in my shoes; a 77 year old cancer patient termed incurable but treatable. I'm kept on top of the lawn due to very expensive procedures. I'm active and even productive, but I'm older, maybe older than the Affordable Care Act deems worth the effort and money to keep going, once its in place--nobody knows yet. Now here's the kicker; my doc closes his practice at the end of this month due to Obamacare being the last straw he can carry on his back and I can not find a doc to replace him what with my credentials.
For me, even as a gun owner, gun issues take a back seat right now. I have bigger fish to fry. Sorry to vent. Carry on.

Sorry about your doc, but what does the ACA have to do with you? At your age you are surely eligible for Medicare, right?

Anyway, despite all the misinformation being spread about it, it is nothing more than putting some regulations and mandates of the insurance industry. Doesn't have a thing to do with actual care except that it prohibits fat cat CEOs from using the majority your premiums on their yachts so you might actually be able to receive a little.

Then why can't I find a new doctor? I have my guesses, but you apparently have the facts. Lay them on me.
FYI; Medicare does not guarantee you a doctor. Quite the opposite, most docs do not want new Medicare patients, if they take on any at all, because of the paltry fee schedules. Obamacare will pay even less.

Best of luck finding the right MD RICZ. This stupid ACA law has already done more harm than any good it will ever do.

On the site SB linked to there was another story that caught my eye. The irony of it hit my funny bone. This animal abuser died and was eaten by her dogs. In the end she was nothing more than dog ****. :D

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/25/patricia-ritz-animal-abuser-eaten-dogs_n_3991508.html?hpweird=y

I figure the way she came out the dogs butts were pretty much how she came into the this world. She was the same both times. I'm obviously a dog lover and take the responsibility of taking care of my dogs quite seriously.

Exactly. For obvious reasons the main stream wannabe media does not publish the truth about the ACA. It starts out by robbing $715B from Medicare which in turn reduces what doctors and hospitals will get paid. Many doctors are no longer taking on any more Medicare patients because of this. The income from Medicare patients wasn't great before but it was still profitable. Now it isn't. Basically the ACA throws seniors and disabled under the bus so they can give health care benefits to illegals and others who don't pay for their care when they show up at the ER's across the country.

Factor in how companies everywhere are reducing hours to part time status so they don't have to provide health insurance to their workers any longer due to the increased costs caused by the ACA or pay a penalty for each worker and the fact those workers make less money now, if they are even still working, and now they have to pay for their own health care insurance due to the ACA or pay a penalty. So now they make less money, have to pay out for something they will not receive because the cost of the actual health insurance has gone up 300% in many places; probably more in others, and this is supposed to be a good thing!!!? I think not.

The ACA has a handful of good ideas in it including covering young adults to age 26 and offering care to those with pre-existing conditions even though it will be prohibitively expensive. The rest of it sounds just like what that animal abuser ended up being in the end.
