anyone found an after market supplier for drive belt on cross bikes??
Got this from another site.

I believe I gained the following information:

*

1.There was one, and only one manufacturer of this particular belt.

2.It is used nowhere else; Victory specific (for aluminum frames).

3.The manufacturer is NOT allowed to make them unless they have a purchase order in hand from Victory; Victory owns the licensing rights to the manufacture of this particular design for the next 10 years.

4.Gates rubber co, at this time, has no purchase order from Victory.

5.As Victory has ceased production, there is no expectation of a purchase order from them.

@BP6666VR , for reference can you let me know specifically what HD belt you are using as well as what drive and rear wheel sprocket on your Jackpot. Or send a link to another thread you posted it in. I haven't been able to come up with it.

Thank you.

As vindex1963 said, there is no substitute for a stock-pullied aluminum frame (Vision, cross bikes). It's 28mm wide by 154T. If you have an underdrive pulley, there are a couple of options: Polaris #3211168, which is an Indian belt, and Harley #40145-07, which is the belt for the international spec V-Rod. Both are 152T. The Indian belt is 24mm and the V-Rod belt is 1".

I haven't actually mounted one of these up, but I did the math and it should put the axle 3/8" - 1/2" forward from the stock location.

Stock aluminum = 154 tooth

And Stock steel frame = 147 tooth

.......

Aftermarket HD Buell size = 145 tooth for steel frame that fits

Aftermarket HD Vrod size =152 tooth for aluminum frame that fits

See everything comes together, it is like a puzzle... Everybody has a piece to share...
