Would the bike sitting without the battery for like a month cause the ecu
flash to get erased?

It should not. Although, when I bought my bike, it had sat for the winter and the battery was dead. Somehow the TPS had lost it's setting. It was off like 38 points. It took me 3 try's bringing it back to the dealer for them to figure it out.

Maybe it was just running a little funny because the bike was sitting for a month

No, all Power Commanders utilize a nonvolatile memory (it does not require constant power to maintain it). The only way a map can be “erased” is to use a computer to load a new one in place of it. This is on a power commander so what flash ecu do you have?

I got the same song n dance from our local Victory dealer (St. Pete powersports) and it was all BS of course. My bike has the Ness big honker intake and shorty slash pipes but was never flashed or tuned for these mods, and just doesn't run right. I want the scary torque and wheelspin in 1st gear that these bikes can produce with the right tune. I have an extra factory Stage II ecu flash card for sale, because I found a Victory tuner up in Tarpon springs who says he can get ny bike dyno tuned to where I want it with another tune package that he offers. Flash card / in factory unopened package75 $ ppd anywhere.
