A new Project Farm video is out comparing it to Mobil 1. Apparently it's known on farms and in trucking but I've never heard of it. Surprisingly it has been around for 175 years. Now how could anyone not hear of an oil that has been around that long? Well kept secret I guess.

I don't know if they have a JASO/MA certification so it can be used in Vic's but it might be worth looking into.

For all you groaners out there; this isn't intended to be yet another "oil" thread even if it turns out to be one.

I just spotted this on their racing oil page:

Schaeffer’s Supreme 9000 Full Synthetic Racing Oil is formulated for high performance gasoline racing engines including turbocharged and supercharged. It’s recommended for use in most 4-cycle air-cooled or water-cooled motorcycle and ATV engines, including motorcycles with a common sump for the engine and transmission (non-metallic clutches only). (Not recommended for ATV, motorcycle and 4-cycle applications specifying JASO MA or MB, NMMA FC or FC-W 4-cycle oils.

So the 5w 50w racing oil is a no go. Not sure about the rest. Still good for your cars and trucks though.

Just found this at their website. I don't think they have a weight and certification for our Vic's to run it. :(

Supreme 7000 Synthetic Plus gasoline engine oils meet and exceed the following specifications and
manufacturers’ requirements: MIL-PRF-46152E, CID A-A-52039B, API Service Classification SN PLUS,
Resource Conserving, ILSAC GF-5, Ford WSS-M2C946-A (SAE 5W-30), Ford WSS-M2C929A (SAE 5W-
30), General Motors 6094M, Chrysler MS-6395, Chrysler MS-9214.

Looks like Rotella still wins the Victory motorcycle oil competition.

You mentioned "oil" in the title. It is, therefore, an oil thread :D
Funny, I watched that very video earlier today.

So I guess everyone heard of this oil before except for me. Figures.
I just watched this video, thanks for posting, i think this guy makes GREAT videos , and always uses the same pen ....

I never heard of this oil, but in vic engines i can say i have tested some oils .... Not to much ....

I posted this on V.O.G. last week

For my Jackpot / With great effort i have been buying Victory oil for my Jackpot sins new, i have to make oversees shipping within this country (go figure) .... After doing oil analysis i cannot i repeat cannot run vic oil for 8000 km, so i figured by reading the numbers that i have to change the*oil before 7000 so at 6500 km i change it,

Ok so my wife surprised me with buying another vic for my birthday, a CCT to be exact, sooooooo no vic oil for that bike, the best oil i found was RedLine 15w50 (this is a diesel oil) but of course no more stock after only 1 time, then LiquidMoley 10w50 (this*did not do well same as the vic oil)

Then my vic oil ran out for the Jack-hammer and one Guru on this forum mentioned Spectro, 15w40 but i wrote to him how HOT it is here all*year round and he confirmed just run spectro golden 15w50

So i ordered it online with HUGE cost for shipping, but the bike likes it

Gotta appreciate the expense and all you go through to keep your Victory running and looking good in a land where not many live Andre. Most people would go for a Harley if they wanted an American bike but you chose Victory. Good on you!

If it makes you feel any better, it was literally minutes before I saw your post. Hadn't heard of it before that. In the grand scheme of things, I'd say it's right around the same time.

Actually it does make me feel a little better. I was wondering if this was an east coast thing but since you hadn't heard of it either...

A comment made at the Project Farm youtube site made me chuckle but there was some truth to it too. Products with the "Project Farm" seal of approval would mean something to a lot of people.

Hey! What happen to your buddy Pain? Is he on vacay or something?

He's still kickin'. As a matter of fact, he's accompanying me to my trip to Lloydz tomorrow morning :)

Another Dyno session??
Since my last session in October, I've since put the cats back in and changed the pipes from original Stage 1s to Tri-Ovals. And, I also have the underdrive pulley...

I just spotted this video from the same guy "Project Farm" and guess who won the Superbowl of the big oil competition?

I guess what they say about Amsoil is true. I think the Vegas that went 200k miles before giving it to Polaris for a new bike used Amsoil exclusively. I wonder what depot picker uses... I've got some Amsoil made just for Victory/Indian that's going into my KP soon. Should be interesting to see if I feel or hear any difference. I don't put a lot of miles on either bike these days so they are getting oil changes long before the 2.5k or 5k mark.

Too bad Spectro Golden 4 (specific for Victory) wasn't tested. I've had very good luck with it so far, and it feels better for me than the Rotella of various weights.
