I've had my XC for 6 days and between work & family obligations I've been able to put 300 miles on it. First, this is the best handling bike I've ever owned and that includes smaller bikes. Second, the power is great. With the Lloydz air filter, Freedom Performance true duals, Lloydz ATS set at +4 and the stage 1 download this thing moves much quicker than I expected. Third, the comfort of the stock seat combined with the driver backrest is great. Love the bike and I can't believe I waited this long to jump on the Victory band wagon. After about 1500-2000 miles I'll be doing the Lloydz VM1-DR cam install and that should really wake the engine up! My only complaint is the stock windshield sucks... But after researching this forum I think I have a good idea what will work best for me. I also enjoy all the looks and comments the bike gets. My harley buddies still give me grief... They reminded me that I own a ton of harley shirts to which I replied that t-shirts are the best thing that harley makes! Never had one of their t-shirts break down on me yet!!! Thanks for all the advice and I can't wait to put more miles on this thing!

i really like that suede titanium metallic cross country,
as far as your harley buddies a little razzing is all in fun,
tell them it works both ways.thumb up

You can sell your H-D T-shirts to your H-D buddies as oil rags they can use while fixing the breakdowns on their bikes. You won't be needing oil rags for your Vic.

I must have 200 h-d T-Shirts and wear them weather I'm on the vision or not.
For what they want for T-Shirts is insane and I'm not playing there games any more.
Beside I think the Vic shirts suck
For a long time most know that h-d makes more money off there clothes then there bike. There must be a million people out there that have h-d shirts and don't have a bike. $40 dollars for a T-shirt is insane and when H-D only pays $2.50 to get them made is un-real

Did Rick do any tuning on it yet? If so, did he dyno and what are the numbers?

Curious because my son just bought a 2013 XR Classic and is looking for pipes and I spoke to Rick about the tuning he does on the CPU.

VJ, it costs @ $8 to have a T-shirt made. If your dealer is charging $40 for a T-shirt, that's double what my dealer charges. But $20 is still a lot. I get a 20% discount, which brings it down to $16.

Curious because my son just bought a 2013 XR Classic and is looking for pipes and I spoke to Rick about the tuning he does on the CPU.

Rick did a Stage 1 download and is going to basically do a stage 2 and tweak it when they put the cams in it and then Dyno it. I don't have Dyno numbers for it as is but I'll say it's pretty powerful in my opinion. P

Good luck with that.

No popping with the Freedoms w/o a PCV? I have the Freedoms as well and really like them for sound and performance.

I own an Yami FJR sport tourer. It is faster and can be leaned over further, but my XR is so much easier to ride at a fun pace that it's stoopid.

I've been riding Deal's Gap for about 15 years now, usually two or three times a year and many passes up and down. Every sporty bike I've ridden there leaves me shaking my wrists half way thru the first pass. I think I could grind my XR's floorboards into dust before I even started to fatigue.

Welcome to the club. The last two days I've seen other Vic riders out each day. Maybe word is getting out!

bnhender, no popping not even on decel. So far it's great. And yeah saddlebag I'm seeing a lot more Victory bikes around the Houston area. Saw 2 today close by my house and they looked great. Pechocho, I love the color. I've seen quite a few people going with the suede titanium metallic and they all look good. All blacked out has been easy to clean as well. Got a quick 100 miles on her today and it's funny how I get more impressed with her every time I ride her...

I keep hearing about the horrible buffeting and wind issues at highway speeds... Am I missing something? I ride straight highway going to & from work at 70-80mph and I don't notice it that bad. My Street Glide was way worse than my new XC. I admit the stock windshield sucks and I ordered another one but I've heard how bad it is and after doing 2 hours on the freeway at a 20mph wind while riding 75mph it ain't nearly as bad as my HD was. Honestly I'm a lot happier, I thought it would be much worse.
