finally, the weather warmed up enough to ride my vegas for the first time. I was very impressed! Rode Harleys for years(17 different Harleys) should have test rode a victory several bikes ago!

Very cool! I too am a 'convert' of sorts.. Owned a 90 FLSTC and 04 FLSTF, so this High-Ball is a complete departure except I get to keep my fat front tire.

I do admit, there's a 'familiarity' of the old pushrod 45 degree drivetrain and sloppy yet forgiving chain primary that I've not decided yet if I miss or not, but gettin' some throttle on the Vic 106 is met with a completely different experience altogether.

The old '90 Evo 80" was to me 'more' Harley than the 04 even though they were both carb bikes, but I'll take this 106 6-speed anyday for sheer performance.

Once I get some exhaust on the new Vic, I'll be more settled in with the bike. The old bikes trained me to "shift by ear", but I can't hear anything with this EPA'd cat-loaded uber-quiet stock exhaust that's gotta go, but soon.

We should start a PHO-NVO club..
(Previous Harley Owner - New Vic Owner) cheers
