The Scout IV is a versatile, comfortable jacket that has become the premier leather jacket in Firstgear line of motorcycle clothing. For cold weather, the included Thermoliner is a full-length affair that buttons into the inside of the jacket and includes a stow-able Thermoneck, neck liner that’s effective at prevent wind getting into the jacket from around your neck. For the opposite end of weather conditions, the jacket has four large vents, two on the front and two on the back for moving air over the torso to keep you comfortable on hot days. There’s also a ventilation scheme at the end of each arm which draw air up the arms and out the back.

Then there’s the storage aspect - lots of it. Flanking the main zipper at either side, are two large, multi-compartment panels that offer plenty of room for cell phones (yes, plural), maps, sunglass, goggles – everything. There’s also a nifty key lanyard that stretches so you can turn the ignition of your bike on without having to detach the key.

Call TJ and he will make sure you get a Scout leather jacket that properly fits you. You can get him at 866-931-6644 ext 817. For email enquiries, FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM is the address and use the FG SCOUT in the subject line along with the size you want or let us know your dimensions for accurate fitment and availability.

Removable liner mirrors the internal pocket scheme.

Removable Thermaneck collar can be partially hidden behind the Thermoliner when not in use.

Thermaneck is easily wrapped around the neck and prevents cold air intrusion when you’re at speed.

Dual main zippers accommodate the rider equally well whether wearing a t-shirt of thick fleece under the jacket.

Same goes for the collars with dual-button snaps.

Ventilation flanks the main zipper at either side …

… while opening it further reveals copious storage space.

The key lanyard is nestled in the left pocket.

Exhaust vents on the back have large fobs for easy operation.
