Short notice but..

Short notice but better than no notice. I have a tennis match in the morning and it's a 2 hour trip but I may try to make it. Any deals being offered? I am in the market.

Yea I just realized last night that nothing had been mentioned about it. Should have posted a week ago. Oh well. I'm not affiliated with them in any way except its where I bought my bike. Great dealership.

ndabunka,
I'm not sure if they're doing it during this years Fuel It Demo Tour but last year they gave coupons to test riders for $1000 in accessories if they purchased a bike within 2 weeks. The coupons have been brought up in discussion on here before and I believe the general consensus was that you would have to purchase the bike from the dealer that hosts the Demo Tour. Makes sense if you think about it; they have to pay for the truck -- there's an ethics issue if you use a coupon meant to boost their buisness at another dealership.

Go for it! If you ride something you love work a deal and buy it! No sense in waiting, the longer you wait the more you cut into the riding season.

Nice event

I did go and I did sit down with one of the guys from there to price things. I think I have decided that I want the CC but I don't want to pay $20K for one. I did get discounts associated with the event so that brought things down but not by enough to convince me to buy one that day.

I've pretty much decided on either the CC or the CR (The customers at the parts counter were helpful as well). I know that some here are picking up the '10 CRs starting in the $12K range but it looks like those deals are all gone. I have decided I need the rear trunk so the $1K off could go a ways to reduce that bottom line.

As far as the coupon goes, I think the bottom line is that any dealer can do anything they want. I like the guys @ Cherokee and will definitely give them a chance to earn my business after I have completed my MST. Needless to say, without that I wasn't riding anything today. Of course, I knew this before driving down.

The guys at Cherokee are a great group of guys. I had a great time today. Met ThumperTom, (great guy) he was helping the Victory demo guys out. Talked with Arlen & Cory Ness , way more down to earth than I would have figured and know the Cross bikes very well as you would imagine. I would also like to thank Roy in parts for being so helpful. Like I said great group of guys.thumb up
