This is what the journalists are using now to see if the NSA is spying on them via their computers. After downloading the detekt.exe file just right click on it and click on "Run as Administrator". If it asks for permission to let it run; allow it. When the window opens click on the scan bar at the bottom and let it do its thing. It might take a while depending on your computer. If something is found the program will not get rid of it. It only finds it. See the news article on how to get rid of it using encrypted email for help.

Pretty sure you can just click on the "Users" tab in the Windows "Task Manager" to see if anyone else is joining you, without having to download someone's homemade executable file that may be sending your banking credentials straight to some Russian thugs.

From what I've seen, it's pretty easy to tell anyway as they take control of the journalist's mouse and start highlighting and deleting stories right before the journalist's eyes.
