Hi,

I have been bombing around some of the threads asking questions and figured I should probably stop in and introduce myself.

I'm Scott and just purchased a 2008 Kingpin 8-Ball. I am new to motorcycles in general. I bought my first bike last year (2009 Kawasaki KLX 250S) and used it to learn how to ride. I quickly figured out that I wanted to move into a cruiser. I fell in love with the appearance of the Victory 8-Ball bikes.

I convinced the wife that buying a new bike was a cool idea and sold the Kawasaki. I picked up a KP 8-Ball several weeks ago and have taken out a few times already when the weather was in the 40's. Love the bike and am here to learn as much as I can.

Other interests include sports and fitness. Huge fan of Green Bay Packer football, Arizona Wildcat basketball and North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey. It's been a good year so far.

Scott

Welcome Victory Forums.

A couple of pointers. Please take the time to read the “Sticky” threads in the “Victory Forums Rules and New Members Introductions” forum. This will help you out a LOT with the Victory Forums.

The Search feature is your friend! You will find the answers to a lot of your questions by using it.

If you are asking questions that are of a technical/mechanical/electrical/performance nature, please place them in the “Victory Tech and Performance” forum. This will speed up a response. Placing them in the model specific forum can delay a response.

Congrates on your new 8 Ball - I've recently gotten my Hammer and am loving it, and I'm sure you will be enjoying your Vic.

We have some warmer, and dry, weather this week her in Northern Cal, so I'll be out on a few rides this week - hope the weather turns warmer for you real soon so you can enjoy that new pony of yours.

Go Packers!cheers

Hi Scott, how much did you buy that 2008 Kingpin 8-Ball? I think that it is really interested. :D
I picked it up from a guy in northeast Wisconsin. He was asking 9k and I offered him 8k. He accepted and I picked it up the next day.

The KP 8-ball was the bike I always wanted but I was having a hard time finding one in my price bracket with low miles. I briefly looked at a KP Tour but it sold right away. I'm glad it did because it lead me to what I really wanted in the first place.

Can't wait for the temps to warm up a bit.
