As stated in the title, can someone with a Hammer give me the I.D. between the forks? From inside leg to inside leg please up where the tire is. Im looking for a bike that will be a good donor for my next project but need something with a wide front end. Thanks

I measured my 06 across the top of the fender and just below. I have a measurement of 7 7/8"(top), and 8 1/8"(below). As the hammers upper fork tube section has a tapered area its wider from the fender to the last @ 2 1/2" from the bottom of this section. Hope this helps.

Vic's do not have wide glide front ends.
You could take a cc front end and call it a wide glide if you put it on a what ever model.
Say didn't have you asked this question a few days ago

so Johnny are the triple trees wider on Crosscountry and Hammers?
if so would Hammer legs go into Vegas trees?

(just jumped across as I read 'new posts' and don't just read 'Vegas')
theyre all Victories and interchangabilities are a valuable resource
