just hand the fork oil change by dealer and went for a ride today. stop and notice graphite on the forks and the center hub on the wheel wipe it off and rode home about 50 miles and didn't notice any more is this normal

Can't answer your question but wanted to ask a related one. Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread.

Noticed my forks seem 'sticky' (not a particularly smooth telescopic action) and wondered what might be the cause. Why did you get the oil changed? Does your bike have high ks?

What weight oil is in these forks anyway? Mine's a High Ball.

about 35000 no problems with the forks. but I don't want to wait for a problem so I had it done l

Don't know where you live.
Might just be a bad Tech that didn't clean up very good. Whip off really good and if it comes back go back and tell them something is wrong
