I have a 2000 v92sc and need/want to replace the fuel tank with a newer style if possible. My tank is leaking fuel from the vent port on the underside of the tank. Or how do I fix my tank? Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

I would try and work with what you have. You might just have a leaky vent hose. If you happen to have a red SC this one might work with a little clean up/coating-or possibly a paint job in your future?

a bit crusty

mine had the fuel line under the tank not the one under the seat start to leak, i removed the tank and found out the line hd dry rotted from the hot and cold of being so close to the engine, if thats not it then why dont you just flip it upside down and cake on some quick steele or gasket sealer to stop the leak, seems much easier and timley/cost effective then replacing the tank!
