I will be installing a Ness Big Shot on my 2010 Cross Country tomarrow. I was wondering if there was a tutorial or anything out there for the process, any maps?

The instructions leave some to be desired.

Looks like i need to find the fuel injector hook ups (under the gas tank somewhere)

Also need to hook up to the O2 sensors.

Just was wondering if I could get help with the locations and possible starting points for the map

They list the "basic" map.

I have hi flow air filter with strip removed and ness big shot exhaust on it already.

It should have come with some instructions. I'm not familiar with the Big Shot. I thought it was a Dobeck style fuel tuner in which case the O2 sensors would in fact be disconnected I think.

I can tell you the connection for the front fuel injector is between the heads and not easy to get to. Most have said a pair of the long hemostats available at Harbor Freight and other outlets work very well for getting to it. Almost impossible to do by hand.

I found a link to another forum - not a Vic forum - that should give you an idea on how to mount it up. It's for a different bike but it's pretty much the same with all of 'em. I'll send you a pm with the link.

It has 5 connections comming from the tuner

The way I read it is that 2 are for the injectors, 2 are for the 02 sensors and 1 is for a ground wire on the battery.

Install went well. I would like a little more slack on the injector cables. Those injectors are a pain to hook up. I used two pair of needle nose pliers, one with a curved end and one straight. 02 sensors were easy. I have the "basic" map right now, ness told me on the phone that that was designed for the "stage 1" upgrade. I think I will go up a little on full throttle due to their stage 1 also includes 100 inch engine's. I also feel that the ness big honkers are a little for free flowing then victory stage one and I have the air strip removed and I doubt they fatored that into their settings.

By the way the instructions online are the same that come with the fuel tuner. They talk about visions and non visions......thats it. The part they talk about tunning is well written.

I think it is a great tunner over all, especially for the price I gave....$150 shipped.

Intake Work (Hi flow filter, strip removed) $60
Arlen Ness Big Honker Exhaust $487.35
Arlen Ness Big Shot 2 Fuel Tuner $150.00
$697.35 Total price

Better price then the Victory Stage 1 kit, better sound and I am sure better performance.

Thank you for all your help so far on this thread and others.
