Hello all, just checking in. Recently snagged an '05 Vegas (in no small part to the homework I did on this site)- Never been so impressed with a bike. Ever.

Anyways, Thanks for having me. I'm a rabid tech head, so I'm looking forward to contributing as much as I can.

Welcome. I ride an '05 kingpin. And 2005 was a VERY good year for Victories. They may lack the 6th gear overdrive, but they ride & handle oh so well!

Thanks!

I really do like pretty much everything they make, but the 05 seemed like a nice compromise between the nice advanced design of the entire Vic line, and a relatively approachable machine from a ease-of-repair standpoint, all at a really nice price. And like you said, the handling is phenomenal which alone is enough for me- with the reputation for longevity too, I really couldn't resist.

Now, off I go to continue development on a semi p&p replacement for the one thing that already gave me some trouble, the ACM. lol
