Nevermind

I realize all 4 bolts must be stripped 4.5 allen heads. It's just that they all look new.

Cheers Homies.

Anyone know how to disassemble the headlamp unit on a 2016 Hammer? I have scuffs on the top cover & want to repaint it. It should be simple, e.g., removing 4 phillips screws, and it's not that nor any kind of hex pattern. The head is round on the sides with a round divot in the middle. It's not in the service manual. This should be easy? 🤷‍♂️

Supposed to be a phillips. Closer picture please because it almost looks like the bottom of a rivet. Have you had it since new?
I picked it up a couple months ago, through CycleTrader. First bike, and a fantastic learning opportunity. On this topic, it is indeed an allen bolt and all 4 are the same in appearance. I was not impossible to get them out if using a wrench without the rounded ends. The bike has signs of a drop or perhaps pushed over, but by-and-large is very clean & without issues. I am slowly combing over each component to understand it. Adding Lindby highway bars next.

Agreed, of all things I have lying around that I might try to use, a vandal proof screw isn't one of them :)
