I'm on the hunt for some new handlebars for my XC. This is the perfect thread to show off you upgraded bars. thumb up

I don't mind if you have a XC or XR. I'm just looking for lots of pictures. Riders position photo's would be the most helpful. But all angle's are fine.

I am thinking about a mini ape look, but i'm uncertain if I want to go high enough that I have to change all my cables. So please include if you needed new cables for the bars your showing a picture of.

Another concern I have is being able to mount navigation or my cell phone to ape's(mini). I don't want to be a sail on a sailboat. I just want comfort and coolness.

Thanks guys

The ness modulars like youve seen would probably work good for you, not to tall, very adjustable, and as far as I know no cable changing. I kinda copied them when I made my bars but mine are not adjustable like the ness.

Your bars look great, they are very similar to the Ness, except the adjust-ability. You built em yourself, that's pretty impressive. Do you sell any or just your own personal project? thumb up

I'm almost sold on the Meat Hooks, just because they are really fat, and the cables go inside the bars for a cleaner look. And they have the wicked curve. I'm not sure about spending that much money without ever feeling or seeing them. I sure wish I knew somebody with them in person. I could make my decision much much easier seeing them in person and actually putting my hands on the bars. As far as I can see the grips are just a few inches above the stock bar grips. And that would be fine. I only want to come up a few inches anyway.
