My '08 Vegas 8-ball has 2 wired harnesses for the low beam...3 questions:

1) Can I use the wires from the non-used harness for aux. LEDs?

2) If so, should I run an inline fuse so the headlight fuse wont be affected if somethin goes awry with the LEDs?

3) Best way to run wires from headlight housing to rear of bike and/or battery to front of bike?

Seems to me that those would be switched with the ignition. If you ever wanted to show off your LEDs without turning on your key, you won't be able to. Any way you decide, run an inline fuse, 10-15 Amp should suffice. I ran mine directly with switch and inline fuse to battery.

I used other headlight bucket wires for GPS and 12 volt accessories I wanted to turn off when key is off.

For LED I would come right off the battery with a fuse. Better then to tie into a essential harness
