Hello my name is Dominic I bought a 2013 Anti freeze green Cross Country last August and I love it. This is my first post but have been a member for awhile. Last week I had the unfortunate luck of losing a saddle bag on the highway that then got run over by a truck  But other than that I am very happy with the new bike.

Replace at least one of the dzus plates and fasteners with nut plates and bolts. It's a DIY Brukus kit that will cost between $10-20 depending on whether you go with cheap bolts or stainless bolts.

Welcome from Arvada

Bad news on the Saddle bag. Let us know how your search for a replacement goes. Bought mine at Colorado Powersports in Thornton. Great dealer!

The price is high for just about any color other than the basic paint jobs because they don't sell the bags for custom colored bikes as a set.

That said your dealer is about $950 too high. I built a parts list (for a left side bag -wasn't sure which side you needed - without the dzus fasteners) the will hopefully open with the link below.

If this is still too much you could also take a shot at the ad kingpin_47 has in the classifieds for a set of leather bags.
