Hi I am a new member to this forum. I ride a Cross Country 8-ball. I sold my 2009 Softail Deluxe Harley back to Harley. It was a total lemon from day one! My husband has the Cross Country Tour.

Upon getting my bike, I had to have it lowered 1.5 inches and ordered parts and pieces for the quick attachment so I could ride my dog around on the Victory too!

Thank you! I have also added Heli bars to make the reach easier too. I am actually able to ride the dog now. With the stock handle bars, I had a hard time with the handle bars shaking. My husband gets the same shake when I am on the back of his bike. Can that be helped by adding air to the shocks?

Always put more air in the shock than you think you should. We tend to underestimate the weight we have placed on the bike. Example: My riding gear weighs 20 pounds.
