Hi, I have a 2008 Jackpot with 700 miles on it. Recently it seems that the motor is starting to vibrate more and more thru out the rpm range. Mainly it starts around 2200 and goes thru 3500. It even makes my hands go numb and my wifes teeth rattle. It also seems to bog until it gets over 3500 rpms. Is this normal or is there something going wrong inside the motor. Bike has a K&N air filter with vented air box lid and a power commander 3. Rest of bike is stock. I tried searching here and couldn't find anything similar.

Thanks,
Dave

Checked plugs and it seems to be running on the lean side. No color on plug except black at the bottom of the porclain. Could running lean cause this vibration? I'll add that it has been cooler out here. Mid 50's

Have you changed tires? Look to see if the wheel weights are still on the rims

Tires are stock. I noticed that the back plug wire is corroded where it plugs into the coil. I purchased this bike last may as a left over. Just hoping that the fuel pump isn't on its way out. I only have 700 miles on it. Its definately running lean.

Is the bike still under warranty? I have seen power comanders give a few bikes problems. Your sounds like it is running way to lean. So lean that the bike acts like it is running out of fuel. That can cause motor damage. Better get it in to a shop and get checked out. You could try removing the power comander and see if the bike runs better.

700 miles in 3 years = 1 tank of gas at most per year. My first guess is bad gas followed closely by plugged up fuel injector(s). Try emptying the tank, then fresh gas with some injector cleaner like Gumout or STP....
