I went to VictoryHID.com for a conversion kit and they ask how many Kalvins you want? what should I go for 5,000, 6,000, 7,000 etc... I want to get Highs and Lows. Please advise, thanks.

The degrees Kelvin indicate the color (not the brightness, per se) of the bulb you are ordering. Check out this post by CrossRoads; it has a color chart and he does a great short write-up:

You can see that chart here also: http://www.victoryhid.com/tempchart.php along with a brief explanation of what differs from one color to another. Based on your question, I have just added a link to the color chart inside the ordering section. Just in case others have the same question as you did. Hope this helped.
