Can't find a post on this. Friend has Magnum and when he honks horn radio quiets. Wondering why

If he has an aftermarket amp and speakers setup and/or different horn, I can speak from experience it has happened to me. I think it calls for a diode on the horn to keep it from happening. It's only happened when I've hit the horn several times in succession, after a a few moments it comes back on if I remember correctly.

Tell him to check those battery terminals tight as well.

I think the only time you would have the horn problem was with the Wolo/Stebel. I wouldn't think an OEM horn would cause problems.

After all that's been posted, I'd have to say check battery terminals.
