I was talking to a Victory rep yesterday at a motorcycle trade-show and I mentioned that while I was really liking the Cross Country, I wasn't especially fond of the colour choices they offered for 2011,although, if I had to chose one, it might be that blue metallic.

I mentioned that I might wait until mid-summer to see what the new colours will be for the CC in 2012, he said that by the time that the dealers here in Atlantic Canada would get their 2012 bikes, it wouldn't be until after the end of our riding season.

I'm not sure if he's exagerating so that I'd buy the 2011 model or maybe it does take that long.

Has anybody in Canada waited more then a couple of months to get their new Victory?

Don't know about Canada but you would probably get it on time to get a little riding in (depending on when the temp drops and how well you handle the cold).
I ordered my 2011 the day my dealer got back from the dealers meeting. That was the first week of Aug; my bike delivered the first week of Sep. I was delayed because they waited to ship towards the west coast until they had a truckload. You may end up in the same situation.

Wow, if we could be lucky enough to get the new 2012s in before October, I'd be thrilled but from I've been hearing that's not very likely.

You guys in the States would get the bike first I would imagine.

Thanks for your reply BTW.

Got my 2011 on October 31st, and I remember the 2011s had been out for about a month or two at that time.
