That was my first thought when I read the article as well.

Info I found was on car sites. But short of it it is EU lights are more focused on road and flatter than US beams. Think US will light up signs on side of road, EU lights the road so you dont need to guess whats up ahead.

Wouldn't it be nice if thats the type of recall we normally woulsd see from the Mfg's.

I run euro lights one one my cars. Much better on night mountain passes. Wish they were reasonably priced available for the rest of the stable.
