Second generation IndianLED Headlights are now available! More light than 1st gen, with both top and bottom projectors activated and calibrated for low beam light, and side hyper LEDs for blinding high beam. Improved power, from 20 Watt low beam, to 30 Watt, and a 42 Watt high beam, this second generation Chief Can See headlight is available in chrome or black finish. Driving lights are also available, in black or chrome finish.

So, what about those who bought the 1st generation and were not head over hills with it? I want to say thank you to the first gen adopters for their support and all the feedback they have provided. If you have one of the 1st generation Chief Can See headlights and are not fully satisfied with it, you can exchange it for a 2nd generation headlight without any additional cost (except the $5-10ish it will cost you to ship it back). If you want to do this, simply reply to the order confirmation e-mail you received when you purchased your headlight.

HID is the brighter option when compared to LED, so no reason to try to downgrade to LED. On the Indians, my first choice was HID as well. However, I had to go with plan B, LED, because the stock reflector on Indians is garbage compared to the stock Vic reflectors, and couldn't get any type of decent light distribution out of it.
:nerd
Now if someone wants to volunteer on testing a pair of driving lights on the XC/XR bikes, that might be something good to add to the Vic line of products, since there's no room for HID into those little cup cakes.
