Yes I'm starting another thread. Have noticed that there seems to a lack of slip on exhaust alternatives for victory has anyone thought of using a slip on from........dare I say it a harley. Reason I ask is watched a you tube vid where a shop in Scotland or Ireland had put a set of vance and hines on a vegas 8-ball and it sounded pretty good. Trying to think outside the box a little. I want a little more sound but don't want the raspy sound of a drag style pipe which seems to be the norm minus a couple of exceptions for victory bikes. Plus a full system is so expensive then add a filter or intake upgrade and fuel controller then tuning time you have some bucks wrapped up in exhaust. Maybe a set of slip ons would keep you from having to do all of that.

not know what model bike you have makes answer a little hard. Sorry didn't see Judge
Yes you could use Harley mufflers But.
You have to check the length and your going to have to cut there mounting tabs off or your going to have to make some kind of sturdy mount.
Nothing to it just money and time

Well looking at the few aftermarket exhaust systems available for Vics it appears the frame has to be cut anyways. Trying to stay away from that and after riding this thing for a week it is plenty peppy just wish it wasn't so quite the only slip on I have found for victory is an rpw and it is 500 bucks. Harley versions can be had for as cheap as 179 in chrome just have to have it powder coated. Just not sure what tuning issues would pop up. As far as brackets if you are going to powder coat just cut them off and re weld where needed and any other bracket could be fabbed up fairly easily. It just seems to me that in order to change the whole exhaust you have to add a tuner and a filter if you go the vic route. I guess that applies to whatever exhaust you use correct me if I am wrong. Or you can go the go big or go home route and remove the factory airbox in favor of a lloyds or s&s a fuel tuner of your choice and whatever exhaust your wallet allows after the other two mods. To me adding a slip on seems the most effective way to add even a small amount of performance while increasing the sound level a little without wiping out the checking account. Maybe I am being simple minded about this it is after all my first Victory and my first fuel injected bike.

Hi greg b,

When I was shopping for my Judge and I was at Volusia Motorsports in New Smyrna Beach FL, they had two Judges that were ready to be picked up by customers. One of them had slip-on's in place of the big old stock cans...they were slim and looked much nicer...didn't hear them though. I'm almost positive that Andy said that they were D&D's but I can't be 100% sure about that. Give Andy a call and I'm sure that he could confirm what they were.

Well been thinking about this and since my wife scored me a new used exhaust for the bike after my daughter dropped it. I have been looking at some 4 inch touring baffles from la choppers thinking of gutting the mufflers and shortening them a couple of inches installing the baffles and having them powder coated. Should be able to do the whole thing for about 200 bucks. My only real concern is will I need to remap the computer for it to run right , not interested in unplugging the o-2 sensors would rather see how it runs with them. Just looking for a little more sound more than anything the big power adders will have to wait a year or two so a good exhaust will have to wait as well.
