When you out riding and the road is dry around the next curve the road could be damp from overnight frost that hasn't been dried by the sun.
Yes leaves as pretty as they are can all so by slippery and cause the back end to wash out on you. Just a heads up

Don't forget all the acorns, hickory nuts, walnuts, etc. laying around every corner. Hit a walnut going around a curve last Friday with the rear tire that about sent me in the ditch.

One should always keep a wary eye out for nuts on the roads the year around. Some of them can hit you. :devil

Don't forget birds, squirrels, or that damn groundhog that decided to cross road in front of me on the interstate.

Grass clippings in the summer time made my aunt go down.

Add it all up and people think we crazy to be riding. Lol
